GENERAL FAQs

It’s easy to create an account. You can sign up either by using your email address or our Facebook integration. Both buyers and sellers can create their free account by clicking here and following the prompts. 

There is no cost to setting up an account. You only pay when you want to list materials for sale and your first 5 listings are free!

Without an account you can view materials listed on Second Source Supply. You will not be able to see details of the listings or contact information unless you create a free account and log in. 

SELLER FAQs

1. Log into your account.

2. Click on “Manage/Submit Listing”

3. Click on “Submit Listing”

4. Fill out the information about your materials. **Make sure to include sku and other specifications in the description. You may also include up to 6 photos per listing.

5. Click “submit listing” and it will be sent to the Second Source Supply admin team for approval.

6. Upon approval, your listing becomes active! It will remain active on the website until you mark it as sold or delete it.

Your listing will be approved by the Second Source Supply admin team. Please allow 24-48 hours after submission for the team to review and approve your listing.

If your listing is denied, you will receive a credit back to your account for that listing.

Your first 5 listings are free! After that you can buy listings in the following bundles: 

  • 5 listings: $75
  • 10 listings: $100
  • 25 listings for: $200
  • Unlimited listings for 30 days: $500

Once you list your materials, they will remain active until they are sold or you remove them.

The following items are prohibited from Second Source Supply:

  • Scissors lift, forklift or other heavy equipment
  • Stolen tools or equipment
  • Hazardous material or chemicals

Yes. After your listing has been added, you are able to edit your listing by clicking on “Manage Listings” from your dashboard or the dropdown menu.

Your listing remains active until you sell your materials or you remove the listing. Second Source Supply also reserves the right to remove listings if appropriate.

After submitting your listing, Second Source Supply will review and approve. 

You supply contact information when you create a free account.

You will coordinate payment directly with the buyers using whatever method you prefer. Popular payment methods: Venmo, Paypal, Cash, Check.

Sales taxes, fees and reporting to the appropriate entity are the responsibility of Second Source Supply’s users.
Second Source Supply does not obtain or maintain any payment information. 

BUYER FAQs

You can view all listings by clicking here. There are options to filter by category and location. You will need to create a free account in order to view listing details.

First create an account. Once you are logged in, select Manage Notifications located on  the left side of your Dashboard and follow the prompts.

Or if you are already logged in, Click Here.

You can set notifications for specific categories and locations.

The seller’s contact information is available on the listing page. You will only be able to see their information when you are logged in. The seller is able to provide their phone number and email address.

You will coordinate pickup of materials with the seller.

You will coordinate payment of materials with the seller.
